At Stay Frosty K9 Training, we follow a positive‑reinforcement, evidence‑based approach rooted in modern behavioral science. That means we never;
Force dogs to work for us.
Use fear, pain, intimidation, or emotional pressure to get results.
Use Aversives.
Instead we use methods grounded in research on learning theory, canine cognition, and emotional regulation. We use clear communication, thoughtful reinforcement strategies, and well‑designed training environments to help dogs make good choices without coercion. We also don't “bribe” dogs or toss endless treats hoping they’ll comply. Instead, we teach dogs why a behavior is worth doing by building clarity, confidence, and motivation through structured reinforcement.

Private Training & Behavior Modification
Private training happens where real behavior actually shows up—your home, your neighborhood, or the public spaces you and your dog use every day. Each one‑hour session takes place a predetermined location the trainer chooses (based on the dogs needs) and focuses on the skills your dog truly needs, from general obedience to behavioral challenges like reactivity or resource guarding. You’re part of the process from start to finish, learning the tools, strategies, and confidence you need to lead your dog long after the session ends.
Starting at 100$/hr
Take & Trains
Take & Trains
Take & Train gives your dog focused, real‑world practice when you need extra support or a stronger jump‑start on tougher behaviors. Each 45–60 minute session starts with pick‑up at your chosen location, and your trainer works hands‑on with your dog at home, in your neighborhood, or in public spaces to build the skills you’ve agreed on. Follow-ups with you will occur frequently to ensure the skills are passed over so you can continue the training outside your dogs training. Report cards after each session.

If you’re looking for training that goes beyond the traditional, we offer specialized programs tailored to your goals. Whether you run an animal facility needing staff education and behavior workshops, or you’re a pet owner wanting advanced skills like nose work, retrieval training, or other Special Ops‑style training, we build custom solutions designed to strengthen understanding, improve performance, and support your team—human or canine.
